Billy Graham Asked to Repent of the Mormon Cult to Help the USA’s Recovery
Why are perceived Christian leaders saying to vote for non-Christians Barack Obama or Mitt Romney? “It is sad to see Billy Graham help Mormons since the Bible teaches the USA’s problems are spiritual, not political. How can the nation turn around if Christians disobey Scripture that says to vote for Christians?” says Pastor Steven Andrew, president of USA Christian Ministries and author of “Making A Strong Christian Nation”.
He asks Graham to repent. In August 2012, Pastor Steven Andrew asked Billy Graham to call Christians to vote for Christians, but Graham’s executive staff answered that the Grahams didn’t want to get political. However, since 2011 Franklin Graham was saying to vote for Mormon cult leader Mitt Romney. Franklin, along with Joel Osteen, Pat Robertson, Richard Land and others who were disobeying Scripture caused there not to be a Christian Republican Presidential nominee. Then in October 2012 the Grahams got very political calling Christians to vote against Scripture for non-Christian Romney.
“God is a jealous God. He asks us to follow Him with all our heart. Unless we stop helping false gods, our vote doesn’t count with God. Why would Christians betray our covenant Christian nation with those who serve a false god-like Obama or Romney? Christians know that sin brings God’s judgment on the economy and Christian liberty as we are seeing (2 Chronicles 19:2). For Americans to be blessed we must put Jesus Christ first, not second, or third or not at all.”
“Jesus died on the cross for your sins-Jesus is God our Creator. However, Mormons think that Jesus is a created being-the spirit brother of Lucifer. Mormonism is a false religion, like Buddhism, Islam and the new age. The Mormon ‘Jesus’ can’t save your soul, doesn’t love you, and isn’t the one you appear before on the Judgment Day,” he says.
“Mormon false teachings include: salvation by works, no cross, adding to Scripture, marriage after death, secrecy, magic underwear, occult practices…” he continues.
“I am surprised Graham doesn’t share when a nation sins against God then “those who hate you shall rule over you” (Leviticus 26:17). I privately asked Graham to call to vote for Christians earlier. Why didn’t Graham give God’s priorities?” he says.
The ministry president explains God’s priorities for the USA’s recovery. With hope from God’s mercy, he is asking Americans to follow Scripture and:
- Ask God for mercy for our sins, crying out: “spare Your people” (Joel 2:17, Judges 3:9),
- Re-affirm covenant: The Lord is the God of the USA and Americans are His people (2 Kings 15, 2 Chronicles 34), and
- Turn from our wicked ways-including helping those with false gods (2 Chronicles 7:13-14)
“For jobs and national security Americans have to follow those faithful to God. Unfaithful shepherds grieve God. Faithful shepherds teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ,” he says.
“Israel fell for the same sin. Rather than turning to God they turned to those outside the covenant. The LORD is a jealous God and was upset. He removed Israel (Ezekiel 23). Repenting is more important than voting. Will you affirm that your loyalty is to God and to His Word, the Holy Bible?” he says.
He explains Graham is following others who put Mormons and/or Obama before Jesus. Following Scripture he contacted the following privately who refused to repent: Joel Osteen, Franklin Graham, James Dobson, Richard Land, Tony Perkins (Family Research Council), American Family Association (AFA), Don Wildmon, Tim Wildom, Jerry Falwell Jr., Pat Robertson, John Hagee, Ralph Reed, David Barton, Kirk Cameron, Paul Crouch, Jan Crouch (TBN), Robert Jeffress, Rick Scarborough, Gary Bauer, National Organization for Marriage, National Right to Life and Jill Stanek.”
“It is sad to see others like American Family Association (AFA) with Don and Tim Wildmon tell Christians to vote for the lesser of two evils, which is against Scripture. It’s like they are saying: Do you want to sit on the left side of the Titanic or the right side of the Titanic? Or, if you are trying to go north, do you take the exit to the west or the east? No. You stop. Back up. (Repent) And go north,” Pastor Steven Andrew said. The Bible verses on voting are here.
To bring back God’s blessings, he says to re-affirm covenant to God as a nation. One way to do this is to pray and proclaim: “Jesus Christ is Lord of the USA…In God We Trust…” daily from your heart. “We must run to God,” he says. Learn more.
