Prayer How Americans Are to Live for God
Every Wednesday I call Americans and churches to pray and fast for the USA. Today our focus is for Americans to live for God so God will bless the USA.
Father,
You, the LORD, are the God of the USA and Americans are Your people.
As George Washington and Abraham Lincoln said: It is the duty of all nations to obey Your will and to recognize the just government of Almighty God. Americans love You with all our hearts and covenant that Jesus Christ is Lord of the USA.
Jesus said a wise man builds on Your Word. Agreeing with Jesus, Americans acknowledge: The Holy Bible is the Rock on which our Republic rests–as Andrew Jackson said.
You promise to bless those nations who obey Your Word.
Give Americans Christian love.
We repent of all sin. We serve You only. We welcome You to all government, schools, courts and military. As First Chief Justice John Jay said we promise to “select and prefer Christians” for our leaders. We promise to teach our children Your Word and to bring back the Holy Bible and Christian prayer in schools. We obey You as a pro-life nation. We obey You with God’s Marriage of one man and one woman. Instead of covetousness, each American is to work for their own needs.
We praise You for Your mercy endures forever.
