> Who is the Most God-Fearing Presidential Candidate
Understand: God Controls the Economy, Not a Person or the Government
Do you want a prospering economy, strong families, freedom and national security? The Holy Bible and our Founding Fathers teach that these blessings are the fruit of the USA obeying God. Part of obeying God is choosing God fearing leaders. Will you seek God first in voting? (Galatians 6:7, Deuteronomy 28, Leviticus 26, 2 Chronicles 7:13-14). Jesus Christ says:
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33
Jesus also tells us that it is the non-believer who seeks only after the economy and freedom, but doesn’t seek God (Matthew 6:31-33). Our Founding Fathers built the USA on the foundation of the Holy Bible knowing:
“Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is the reproach of any people.” Proverbs 14:34
We are to affirm: The Lord is the God of the USA and we are His people.
“… recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord.” Abraham Lincoln
God’s Four Voting Requirements – Vote Exodus 18:21
God shows Christians who to vote for. He has four main voting requirements. Noah Webster, who is known as the “Schoolmaster of the Republic”, educated Americans using these Bible verses:
“He who rules over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.” 2 Samuel 23:3
“Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.” Exodus 18:21
God’s Four Voting Requirements Checklist (2 Samuel 23:3, Exodus 18:21)
Every person we vote for is expected to have these Biblical qualities:
1) Rules in the fear of God - Fears God, reverent of God
2) Able - Strength, efficiency, wealth and leader of the army
3) Person of truth - Reliable, stable, faithful, true doctrine
4) Hating covetousness - Hater of unjust gain (bribes and other frauds)
Which candidate best fulfills God’s standard? Will you vote Exodus 18:21?
Would you agree that a God-fearing person obeys God’s laws found in the Holy Bible and brings others who fear God into government appointments? An unprincipled person brings the wicked who disobey God in leadership.
To Rule in the Fear of God is for Leaders to Obey God’s Word
We are to welcome God to all government, schools and courts. The first act of Congress was to read the Holy Bible and pray in Jesus’ name. We are to bring back the Holy Bible and Christian prayer in schools as the settlers, George Washington and our Founding Fathers did for 355 years (1607 – 1962). We are to have pro-life laws and we are to keep God’s marriage of one man and one woman in lifetime covenant. God says:
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord…” (Psalms 33:12) “If we deny Him, He also will deny us (2Timothy 2:12)
“… bring them [children] up in the training and admonition of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4)
“You shall not murder (Exodus 20:13)”
“You shall not commit adultery” (Exodus 20:14)
A Christian Government is Expected for Our Christian Nation
In the first extensive commentary on our Constitution, Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story explained that the First Amendment means Christianity only, not other beliefs. This is the intent of our Christian Founding Fathers. Justice Story’s popular 1833 work was reprinted for 72 years. He had been on the Supreme Court since 1811 and he wrote:
“The real object of the First Amendment was not to countenance, much less to advance Mohammedanism, or Judaism, or infidelity [secularism], by prostrating Christianity, but to exclude all rivalry among Christian sects [denominations] and to prevent any national ecclesiastical patronage [of one Christian denomination only] of the national government.” Joseph Story, USA Supreme Court Justice
Our Founders made America a covenant Christian nation “to all generations” (Jamestown Settlers). As Christians, God expects us to obey Him. George Washington boasted that public schools taught “the religion of Jesus Christ” and he proclaimed for all Americans to fast and pray to the Lord. He ordered the military to attend Christian church services. He wanted God to bless the USA and court martialed homosexuals from the military. John Adams said, “The Christian religion is, above all the religions…” Thomas Jefferson established Christian church services in the USA Capital and used “In the year of our Lord Christ” as a Presidential signature.
While God calls men to lead the USA, the Bible shows that if there isn’t a God fearing man, then a God-fearing woman can be chosen as in the book of Judges when Deborah arose, judged and led the people to victory.
Consequences of Voting for Ungodly People
Voting for non-Christians (Mormons, Muslims, Buddhists and others), or people who just say they are Christians but don’t rule in the fear God, results in God’s Judgment. The Holy Bible warns:
“Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the LORD? Therefore the wrath of the LORD is upon you.” 2 Chronicles 19:2
To have God’s blessings, will you follow this Biblical Christian voting guide and vote for leaders who rule in the fear of God?
Our Founding Fathers’ Call to Elect God Fearing Governments
Do you know what our Founding Fathers said on: How is a Christian to vote? Look at these quotes:
“Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is their duty – as well as privilege and interest – of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.” John Jay, First Supreme Court Chief Justice
“It is alleged by men of loose principles, or defective views of the subject, that religion and morality are not necessary or important qualifications for political stations. But the Scriptures teach a different doctrine. They direct that rulers should be men who rule in the fear of God, able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness…” Noah Webster, “the Schoolmaster of the Republic”
“When you become entitled to exercise the right of voting for public officers, let it be impressed on your mind that God commands you to choose for rulers, ‘just [righteous] men who will rule in the fear of God.’ The preservation of government depends on the faithful discharge of this Duty; if the citizens neglect their Duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government will soon be corrupted; laws will be made, not for the public good so much as for selfish or local purposes; corrupt or incompetent men will be appointed to execute the Laws; the public revenues will be squandered on unworthy men; and the rights of the citizen will be violated or disregarded. If government fails to secure public prosperity and happiness, it must be because the citizens neglect the Divine Commands, and elect bad men to make and administer the Laws.” Noah Webster, “the Schoolmaster of the Republic”
