Christians Boycott Starbucks – Because Romans 1 Explains Starbucks Hates God

UniteWhat if Starbucks lost 80% of its customers? Christians across the USA are boycotting Starbucks for promoting homosexual ‘marriage’ in Washington State. There is an 80% Christian majority in the USA and 1-2% homosexuals.

“Christians are upset with Starbucks for turning against God, but we are glad to know that Starbucks doesn’t pretend to be for Christians,” said Pastor Steven Andrew, who is president of USA Christian Ministries. He calls every Christian and church to boycott Starbucks. Leviticus 18:22 says, “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.”

“This boycott is important because God blesses those who obey Him and judges those who don’t obey Him (2 Chronicles 19:2),” he adds.

Don’t expect to hear sermons with “grab your Starbucks” or to see Starbucks served at churches. “Starbucks is no longer fashionable. If your church still uses Starbucks, then your pastor is a friend of the world,” he adds. God calls those who oppose Him “haters of God” (Romans 1:30).

It is hoped that Christians will quickly share this boycott with their church.

Starbucks overlooked the health concerns for homosexuals. CDC reports that one in five homosexuals have HIV, with many unaware they are sick. The average homosexual dies at 42 years and has a higher depression rate, Cameron reports.

Pray the Prayer of Salvation

“Jesus loves homosexuals. I wish every person would receive Jesus’ forgiveness for sins by His blood,” pastor Steven Andrew says.

He believes pastors across the USA should speak up. Homosexual ‘laws’ remove Americans’ Christian freedom. “Why is Starbucks against our Founding Fathers and God’s liberty?” he asks. George Washington, John Adams and John Jay made the Christian laws that Starbucks wants to make non-Christian.

In his book “Making A Strong Christian Nation” he explains how George Washington made the law to court martial homosexuals to have God’s blessings. Washington, said, “…the Commander in Chief…with Abhorrence and Detestation of such Infamous Crimes [sodomy]…” See Founding Fathers Quotes for more information.

The Christian majority is standing up for our nation.

“Starbucks can follow Satan if they want to. However, pastors are to help Christians. Are you on the Lord’s side? Will you help the USA be blessed by God?” he asks.

Last week, pastor Steven Andrew called the USA to repentance in “God’s State of the Union.”

USA Christian Ministries is uniting the USA in Christ, leading the nation to repentance and calling our nation to seek God first in government (Exodus 18:21). Some days ago, I sent an e-mail to the corporate office of Starbucks, informing them that, as much as I like their coffee, I would no longer be patronizing their stores or purchasing their products as a consequence of their support of same-sex marriage. To date, no reply; not surprised. Maybe if multiple thousands of us send a similar message, they’ll feel the heat if they can’t see the light.

Thank you, Pastor Andrew, for taking a stand on this issue!! I live in Washington state and encouraged my representatives to oppose this same-sex legislation, but it appears it will pass. I totally agree with your Starbucks boycott. When I heard that Starbucks was one of the supporters of this bill and that support of same-sex marriage was “core to who they are”, I determined then not to ever support them again. We must stand up for God’s truth now before it is too late. For too long, Christians have not spoken out the truth of God’s Word for fear of not being “loving” or caring. The Scriptures are very clear about how God feels about homosexuality (as well as other sins). I pray God will have mercy on our state for its blatent disregard to God’s principles. Shortly after this legislation was brought up by our governor, we experienced one of the worst snow and ice storms I’ve ever seen here! The tree damage alone is horrific with many trees with their limbs totally broken off by the ice. I wouldn’t be surprised if it is God’s judgment against our state for its insistance in promoting “same-sex marriage”! I intend to work hard to overturn this legislation and join with you and all Christians in boycotting Starbucks. After Howard Schulz’s last minute pull-out from his speaking contract at the Willow Creek Leadership Summit last summer(due to the fact that someone in their church years ago was teaching a class on how to come out of the homosexual lifestyle)and now this support of same-sex marriage, Starbucks has shown itself to be more supportive of gay rights than Christian rights and marriage. I choose to no longer support them and will buy my coffee elsewhere. May God continue to bless and protect you for speaking out His truth!!

Last week I emailed starbucks and let them know that as a loyal customer I was switching to competing brands of products due to their position in WA state. I treat all people with respect and that includes Gay people but he does not call us to agree with Gay marriage. So I have been asking people to join me in firing starbucks as their coffee company. I was encouraged to here on the news that I was not the only one. I hope others understand Starbucks position and make a responsible choice on which companies they want to support.

I find it funny that the gay community is up in arms because many REAL Christians oppose this perversion and while they preach “tolerance” they do not tolerate the fact the word Marriage is sacred to a MAJORITY of our society. WA voters approved the “Everything But Marriage” bill and they were given all the rights a married couple have. Was that enough? No. Instead of taking the fight to the federal level and get them to accept Civil Unions as equal to marriage they go after the word. Why? Because that word represents something important to a group that has deposed them at every turn. It’s like childish payback and instead of a compromise it’s a whine fest until it’s all or nothing. They will cry for tolerance and acceptance and then slam shut the door behind them and lock it tight.

But hey let’s not stop at banning just Starbucks let’s put the whole list out there of companies that support this.

    Group Health Cooperative

    None will receive my business.

Thank you Pastor Andrew for beating me to the punch. Through email chain letters I was going to call for a boycott… I don’t have the reach you do but I’m certainly going to forward the article on your boycott through email. I know we serve a loving God, but know he hates cowardice. Thanks for standing firm.

Obama made a national announcement that America is no longer a Christian Nation. His statement could be no more true than his claim of being a Christian himself. I read the story about you calling on Americans to boycott Starbucks because of their homosexual agenda. Why not go a step further in boycotting companies/organizations who seek to further “gay down” America by asking for an all out boycott of the U.S. Military. Obama and his followers have done irreparable damage to the American military by doing away with the “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” policy, which allows gays to openly serve in the military. I retired from the U.S. Army in 1998 after 33 years of service and am sickened by what Obama’s liberal agenda has done to our military and our country. I currently work for the Army Recruiting Command, recruiting health care professionals. We are now required to gather, from our applicant’s, information that relates directly to his agenda, e.g. were you born a male; are you a cross dresser, are you a transvestite; etc. A boycott of the military, while it probably wouldn’t be to successful, would draw more national & worldwide attention than a Starbucks boycott. In closing, I cannot understand how someone who claims to be a Christian can vote for a Democrat, for any office, based on their tolerance and promotion of the homosexual agenda, not to mention their unwavering support for abortion.

Just a note to let you know that I pray every single day to the Father the Son and The Holy Spirit for a great rivival of our wonderful nation. One that will change the way we live and do business and sweep across the land like a great wave of hope. This nation needs to have The Father God be served so he will bless us once again. Is this the beginning of that prayer being answered? Maybe just the first step? I don’t know, but my family and I will do our part!
Bless you all in the name of Jesus

    Dear Pastor Andrews,
I will be praying for you. Your stand takes courage. I have been responding to comments on AOL in reference to the story they wrote about your boycott. Most of the comments are by unbelievers and liberal Christians who do not really know what God has said in his Word. I felt led to respond in love and defend your stand as my brother in Christ.

Having said that, I will pass the word around about the Starbucks “boycott” which I might promote more as a long term fast. But what about the other companies that have publically endorsed the bill such as Google and Microsoft? (I can’t remember the others, but these stand out because of their fame.) Did the Holy Spirit prompt you to do the boycott of Starbucks only?

Be encouraged. You are not alone.

    In Christ,

I am so glad to know others heard about this and decided to take a stand! As a person who believes in what God says, I feel it is my obligation to take a stand and refuse to drink anymore Starbucks. I really did like their coffee but there is no way I could enjoy another sip of it knowing they support gay marriage. It’s nice to know that we can stand together in God’s word and hold it true to our hearts!

    Matthew 22:36-40
    King James Version (KJV)
36Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38This is the first and great commandment.

39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Romans 1:28-32 ” And so, since they did not see fit to acknowledge God or approve of Him or consider Him worth the knowing, God gave themover to a base and condemned mind to do things not proper, or decent but loathesome. vs.29 ” Until they were filled (permeated and saturated)with every kind of unrighteousness, iniquity, grasping and coveteous greed, and malice. They were full of envy, and jealousy, murder, strife, deceit and treachery, ill will and cruel ways. They were secret backbiters and gossipers.” vs.30 Slanderers, hateful to and hating God, full of insolence, arrogance, and boasting: inventors of new forms of evil, disobedient and undutiful to parents.” vs.31 They were with out understanding, conscienceless, and faithless, heartless, and loveless and merciless”. vs.32 ” Though they are fuly aware of God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve to die, they not only do them themselves but approve and applaud others who practice them.” What do you expect when these scriptures apply to our government and most of Corporate America!

My friends and I have joined the boycott against Starbucks and their “Seattles Best” products too.

I urge everyone to contact the Kroger/Frys Company, Target, Safeway, and their local convenience store managers and ask them to join the Boycott Against Starbucks and show their support for the 80 percent of Christian Americans against the tiny 2 percent gays and lesbians!

As a store manager, the decision should be simple. “Do I want to alienate 80 percent of my normal Christian customers, or do I want only 2 percent of the weirdo homosexual customers?”

Another secret: Most Muslim store owners oppose homosexual marriages too, so it will be easy to convince them to join the Boycott Against Starbucks! God bless everyone who puts their faith into Action!
