National Repentance – God’s Promise to Heal the USA

Repentance“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people” (Proverbs 14:34).

Do you want the USA to obey God? Your agreement with God that the USA is to obey Him is the first step in national repentance. Then, the second step is to call for national repentance in as many ways as you can.

The Sins of the USA

As you look at our sins below, will you prayerfully consider what God is saying? God is a covenant God. He is holy. He wants strong families and a strong Christian nation. That is why He calls for repentance (Acts 20:21).

We ask God for mercy for the USA’s sins, including:

Sin: Lukewarm Church and Efforts to Break Covenant

“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.” Mark 12:30

“And many nations will pass by this city; and everyone will say to his neighbor, “Why has the LORD done so to this great city?” Then they will answer, “Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD their God, and worshiped other gods and served them.” Jeremiah 22:8-9

Sin: Allowing Foreign Gods

“You shall not go after other gods, the gods of the peoples who are all around you (for the LORD your God is a jealous God among you)…” Deuteronomy 6:14-15

“Yet you have forsaken Me and served other gods. Therefore I will deliver you no more…” Judges 10:13-14

Sin: The 1947 Lie of “Separation of Church and State”

“The LORD is with you while you are with Him.” 2 Chronicles 15:2

Sin: Not Raising Children in the Lord (Taking the Holy Bible and Christian Prayer out of School)

“…Fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:4

“Education is useless without the Bible.” and “[T]he Christian religion is the most important and one of the first things in which all children, under a free government ought to be instructed.” Noah Webster, America’s Schoolmaster

Sin: 54+ Million Abortions

“Thou shalt not kill. Exodus 20:13″ (KJV)

“What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground.” Genesis 4:10

Sin: Not Honoring Our Father and Mother

“Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may be well with you…” Deuteronomy 5:16

Sin: Condoning Sexual and Homosexual Sin

“Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators… nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites… will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-11

“You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.” Leviticus 18:22

“[God] turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly…” 2 Peter 2:6

“And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, as did David his father. And he took away the sodomites out of the land…” 1 Kings 15:11-12

George Washington and our Founding Fathers made our Christian laws. George Washington court martialled homosexuals from the military saying, “…the Commander in Chief… with Abhorrence and Detestation of such Infamous Crimes [sodomy]…”

Sin: Voting for Ungodly People

“Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the LORD? Therefore the wrath of the LORD is upon you.” 2 Chronicles 19:2

“Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.” Exodus 18:21

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful;” Psalm 1:1

“Now I urge you, brethren, note [mark] those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.” Romans 16:17

“…put away (separate) from yourselves the evil person.” 1 Corinthians 5:13

Sin: Serving Money and the Economy

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon [riches opposed to God].” Matthew 6:24

Sin: Putting Trust in Something Other than God

“But if you say… “we will go to the land of Egypt where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor be hungry for bread, and there we will dwell” – Then hear now the word of the LORD… “If you wholly set your faces to enter Egypt, and go to dwell there, then it shall be that the sword which you feared shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt; the famine of which you were afraid shall follow close after you…”” Jeremiah 42:13-16

Sin: Not Seeking His Counsel as a Nation

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4

Sin: Unbelief that He Will Protect and Heal Our Christian Nation

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6

“I will search… the men who are settled in complacency, who say in their heart, ‘The LORD will not do good, nor will He do evil.’” Zephaniah 1:12

Sin: Being Divided

“[Every] house divided against itself will not stand…” Matthew 12:25

Sin: Selfish Individualism

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.” John 13:34

Two Steps of National Repentance

If you have sinned, remember the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from sin and confess your sin to God (1 John 1:7-9). Receive God’s forgiveness through Jesus Christ. God loves you. Now, please agree that you are on the Lord’s side in the two steps of national repentance.

1: Agree with God
I agree the USA is to repent of personal and national sin

2: Repent as a Nation
I will actively promote righteousness in the USA

Log your decision of agreement below.

2 Chronicles 7:14 assures:

“If My people… will turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Create In Me A Clean Heart…

Create in me a clean heart, Oh God,
and renew a right spirit within me.
    May my flesh be crucified…
so that YOU… others may see!

    Please don’t remove from me
    your presence, or Holy Spirit.
May I meditate upon your word…
    and daily live it!

    Restore unto me the joy
    of your salvation…
As I serve you with a deep
    love and appreciation!

    I will teach sinners,
    of your wondrous ways.
So that they my serve you
    all of their days!

I will shout aloud of your
    righteousness and proclaim
    That you have delivered me
    from all guilt and shame.

    As my lips are open…
I will sing glory & praise to YOU!
May you be exalted in all
    that I say and do.

My sacrifice to you are a spirit
    and heart that’s broken.
    God will not reject me…
    this he has spoken!

May I bring sacrifice and obedience
as I come to your altar.
    You are my solid rock…
    like the “Rock of Gibraltar!”

    Thank you for cleansing
    and making me whole.
    You brought healing…
    and restored my soul!
